Skycatcher wallpaper

I created this wallpaper together with Luna Maurer for the 'At Random?' exhibition in Museum De Paviljoens.
The wallpaper is a visualization of 2 years of images captured by Sky-Catcher, a project by Luna that takes a picture of the sky above Amsterdam every 5 minutes.

At the time, the database contained over 200.000 images - for the visualisation we chose to show an image every 10 minutes, which meant the 26m by 5m wallpaper would contain around 88 thousand images.

Each vertical strip is exactly one day and contains 144 images. You can see the duration of the days change by the size of the blue bar (daytime).
